About Jenna

Pisces Sun. Leo Moon. Libra Rising. Mom of 2. Figuring it all out right there with you.

Hi, I’m Jenna!

I’m a mother of two, a board-certified music therapist, certified child life specialist, and perinatal mental health professional. But before any of those titles, I am someone who has walked through the tender, messy, beautiful landscape of matrescence myself.

I’ve lived with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) my whole adult life. I’ve experienced pregnancy loss, the complexity of welcoming a rainbow baby, birth trauma, and later the deep healing of a more supported delivery, along with multiple pregnancy-related surgical repairs postpartum. I’ve known baby blues and postpartum depression. I’ve felt joy so expansive it took my breath away — and I’ve felt the fog, the isolation, the identity shifts, and the pressure of balancing work and motherhood geographically far from family support.

Music held me through it.

During pregnancy, labor, and postpartum, music became a steady place for my nervous system to land. It helped me regulate, connect, grieve, bond, and make meaning. It reminded me who I was when everything felt like it was changing.

These experiences helped shape the way I care for others.

Professionally, I’ve spent years working in NICU, maternity, labor and delivery, pediatrics, and medical settings. I studied music therapy at Berklee College of Music and New York University, and I’m currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University as I work toward licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist.

I also studied Chinese medicine at the graduate level for three years, which deeply influenced the way I understand cycles, energy, nourishment, and the body as an interconnected system. I carry a strong respect for herbalism, nature-based healing, and integrative approaches that support whole-person wellbeing.

My work blends clinical training with creative and integrative modalities — music, mindfulness, expressive arts, nervous system regulation, and gentle ritual — to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are.

Motherhood has become one of the most defining parts of my identity. Having felt the full spectrum — grief, awe, overwhelm, meaning, numbness, devotion — I care deeply about offering the kind of warmth and holding I once needed.
