About Wild Lilac

The perinatal season — from conception through the first year postpartum and beyond — is one of the most raw and beautiful thresholds a person can cross.

It can hold peak life experiences: awe, love, devotion, expansion.
And it can hold profound challenge: fear, grief, identity shifts, exhaustion, uncertainty.
Often, it holds both at once.

There is a deep need for soft, warm spaces where we can explore these layered emotions exactly as we are — even when we are exhausted, overwhelmed, or moving through cloudy seasons. Everyone deserves a gentle place to express, process, and integrate their experiences with steady support.
Wild Lilac exists to be that space.
This practice centers matrescence — the developmental transition into parenthood. Matrescence is not just the birth of a baby; it is the birth of a new self. It encompasses the physical, emotional, relational, psychological, and spiritual transformations that unfold during pregnancy, postpartum, surrogacy, adoption, infertility journeys, loss, and beyond.
The transition of matrescence can feel expansive and disorienting. It can be destabilizing. And yet, It can be defining, awakening, transformative and sacred.
And it deserves care that honors its depth.

Wild Lilac is a trauma-informed, trans-inclusive, and non-binary inclusive practice. It supports birthing people, adoptive parents, intended parents, partners, and families of all constellations. Every story is welcomed. Every identity is respected.
